Scott R. Perry, a life insurance industry veteran, has been named CEO of AmeriLife, a national annuity, life and health insurance marketing group.
Perry succeeds Timothy O. North, who announced his plans to retire last year, and will now serve as Chairman of its Board of Directors.

Spring Venture Group is experiencing explosive growth – think triple digits. In 2016, the company’s revenue growth neared 150 percent, and it hired 134 employees. This year, it plans to add about 225 employees, bringing the total head count to about 415 by year’s end. The company is hiring for all its teams, but a majority of the positions will be in sales.
Several factors are driving the growth of the Kansas City-based independent insurance brokerage. The main one is its niche focus on the senior market.
