The Center for Medicare and Medicare Services require agents to document the scope of a marketing appointment prior to any individual sales meeting to ensure understanding of what will be discussed between the agent and the Medicare beneficiary. Agents are required to keep the Scope of Appointment (SOA) for 10 years.
To help streamline this process for agents, CSG Actuarial has created an Electronic Scope of Appointment and electronic storage and recovery repository that meets their required compliance standards. This document repository allows agents to capture, save and search for their SOAs, then easily run a Medicare quote for their client on the same platform. This new feature also allows agents to upload existing paper SOAs and other documents.
