The 146,000 increase in membership in the past 12 months is down 37% from the membership growth in the previous 12 months. CVS Health reported 1st quarter 2022 Medicare Advantage lives of 3,169,000, a 6.7% increase over 4th quarter 2021 and a 10.3% increase over 1st quarter 2021. As indicated in the table below, CVS Health’s combined Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage lives as of 1st quarter were 4,461,000, a 11.0% increase over the total at 1st quarter 2020. CVS Health’s combined Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage lives ranked 3rd in the market as of 1st quarter 2022.
