CSG Actuarial has compiled information from the NAIC* and other sources and is reporting that total earned premiums in the Medicare Supplement market in 2022 totaled $36.1 billion, a 1.4% increase over 2021.

As the overall Medicare Supplement market has grown the past 10 years, the distribution of policies by plan has changed significantly over that time frame. Plans G and N have a much larger market share in 2022 than 2013, at the expense of Plans C and F.
